Practice Management is a field that is usually learned over time with experience. Each practice has its own unique challenges and staff may not have the relevant experience to cope with given situations.

I have been in practice management across multiple specialties and organisational structures which have given me a unique breadth of experience and understanding of many situations.

Having completed my Masters in Health Science in Healthcare Administration, this has given me the formal qualifications in management and governance which I can utilise to guide staff.

Your staff member may be a great fit for the practice but struggling with a particular issue and there may not be a non-biased party to turn to.

This is where I can come in. I can listen to the situation, evaluate the staff member’s needs and provide mentorship to bring your potential staff member to the level they need to be to help your practice succeed with minimum disruption.

I charge $2,000.00 (plust GST) per month for mentor services.

I will meet with the practice principal to discuss the issues prior to engagement to determine if I am the right fit to help with the situation.

Once engaged, I will meet with the staff member via phone/zoom and discuss their needs and trouble shoot any issues they need immediate help with. If needed I will meet with other staff members and provide mediation if the issue is between two staff members.

Generally I have found, practice managers need guidance at times and instruction on management strategies to navigate their way through difficult situations.

I can be engaged as an oncall mentor for as long as needed or you can book a call from time to time as needed.
